Now onto the recipe to learn how to make hemp milk:
CBD Hemp Honey Milk
The perfect cure for pre/post flying brain fog or jet lag!
To make fresh hemp milk with honey, you’ll need the following ingredients:
- Shelled hemp seeds
- Honey
- Coconut butter
- Cured Full Spectrum Oil
- Cinnamon
Blend one cup of organic shelled hemp seeds with one cup of boiling hot water, one teaspoon of local honey, one teaspoon of coconut butter, one full dropper of Cured Full Spectrum Oil and one teaspoon of cinnamon until smooth. You can use a cheesecloth or nut milk bag to strain the milk, or you can pour directly from the blender into your favorite mason jar or mug and sip slowly. If you have any leftover and want to savor the rest for later on, pour the hemp honey milk into a glass jar with a sealed lid, and store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
A great alternative to cow’s milk, soy milk, coconut milk, and the many types of nut milk out there, hemp seed is one ingredient you won’t want to go without! If you are inspired to craft your own hemp milk recipe, there are so many additional ingredients to explore.Â
If you tend to enjoy the sweeter things in life, swap out the raw honey for agave nectar, maple syrup, or low-glycemic coconut sugar, which are also great alternatives if you live a vegan lifestyle. Pair this with your favorite cereal or granola for that extra dose of sweetness!Â
If natural sweetener isn’t what completes your flavor profile, incorporate elements such as vanilla extract or vanilla bean paste, cacao powder, maca powder, turmeric, or even a pinch of sea salt to add some delicious flavor to your fresh hemp milk. These natural additions to your hemp milk can pair nicely with fresh brewed coffee first thing in the morning.
And last but not least, if you are looking to make a creamy milk that would go nicely in a smoothie, consider adding nut butter or even hemp hearts protein for an extra boost of substance.
